Aims & Scope
PJP aims to publish work that advances psychology through: (i) credible empirical evidence, (ii) theoretically meaningful interpretation, and (iii) practical relevance where applicable. The journal prioritises manuscripts that demonstrate clarity of research questions, transparent methods, ethical compliance, and conclusions that remain faithful to the presented evidence.
In-Scope Domains
Out-of-Scope Exclusions
Methodological Openness with Accountability
The journal welcomes quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods research, provided that the method matches the research question and is reported with sufficient detail to enable critical appraisal. On first use, methodological transparency means the manuscript discloses design decisions, sampling logic, instruments, analytic steps, and limitations in a manner that allows reviewers to evaluate validity and bias risks.
Topic Boundaries and Claim Discipline
Authors are expected to bound claims by design constraints. For example, cross-sectional data must not be framed as causal proof, and convenience samples must not be presented as population-representative without justification.
